        We are writing you concerning our yard waste pickup service.

We have been informed by the Broome County Recycling Coordinator,

that we are in violation of  the county charter, and are not allowed to

mix Yard Waste with the regular trash.  Because of this we must make the

following changes to our service:

We need to increase the cost of the permanent yard sticker from $26.00 per

Season to $43.20 per season to cover the cost of sending a separate truck

around to pick up the yard waste.

We also will still have stickers available at a cost of $2.16 per sticker,

good for 1 can of yard waste. These can be used instead of the permanent

sticker for low usage customers.

DAY OF SERVICE: All yard waste must be out by 7:00 am. We will not come back

for missed Yard Waste. It will be pick up the following Monday.

MONDAY:    Town of Binghamton Customers only

                       Vestal Customers only

If we run out of time on Monday we will be collecting the rest of the yard waste

on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please leave it out on the curb. 

Sorry for any inconvenience and confusion we may have caused you with our first letter.

We were looking for ways to cut our fuel cost, by only sending one truck

instead of two separate trucks.
